“Francis Point Peninsula” was inspired from a hike in Maderia Park on the British Columbia’s Sunshine coast in the summer of 2023.. This artwork is 24”wide by 36” tall, 2 foot by 3 foot. Painted in acrylic on canvas on a presentation frame which is 1.5 wide, which can be directly be hung on the wall. Because the painting can read warm and cool, it shows beautifully with all decors. “ The depth and expanse of the ocean truly captured my imagination. I applied layers of blues including Ultramarine blue, Phtholo blue, Prussian blue, Manganese blue, cobalt blue with other selected other colours to realize this dimension” Louise Lambert
“I commissioned a piece from Louise for a client gift. The goal was to immortalize the property the lady had grown up in and give it a renewed sense of charm, as it had aged quite a bit.
